The material of the HSK series in black has been tested to ULf1 and thus an increased resistance to UV radiation.
In general, for the colour "black", sufficient resistance can be confirmed; the colours "grey" and "blue" have only a limited resistance to the effects of UV radiation. Depending on duration and intensity, this may lead to a degrading of the mechanical and chemical characteristics; in addition, the surface may become brittle.
For this reason, for use outdoors (effect of sunlight) we recommend using black cable glands of Type HSK-K.
